We will upgrade our primary database cluster to PostgreSQL 16. The upgrade uses a replica promotion, so we expect a single write interruption of under two minutes rather than a full maintenance window. API reads remain available throughout. Payments initiated during the switchover will be queued and processed immediately afterwards rather than declined.
